Most aftermarket sports oil filters to use high viscosity oil and therefore filter paper strength is prioritized whilst sacrificing absolute pressure loss properties. HKS Hybrid Sports Oil Filter has readdressed filter strength and overall structure to provide the oil flow that the engine requires and pursue HKS’ ideals in what is required from a sports oil filter.

The paper filter specially designed by HKS increased the filter paper surface area approximately 15% larger than the stock. As a result, the dust collecting performance is much improved.
This filter catches until 20u particles and it meets the required conditions for most of the engines.
We recommend replacing the oil filter every 10,000km or 6 months in normal use and every 3,000km to 5,000km in sports or racing use.
The outer color changed to the purple from the black which is used in the existing HKS products. The vivid purple color gives the impression of the passion for the custom.
