Hydraulic Clutch Slave Cylinder fit to fit our Ford RWD Bellhousing
For use with Ford Type-9 or Rocket Gearbox
CNC machined alloy mounting block with spacers, seals bolts etc
This kit utilises a concentric release bearing and aluminium boss,replacing the standard gearbox nose. The kit comes completed withreplacement seal and fixings. The hydraulic clutch pipe is routed throughthe original release lever cutout in the bellhousing
The slave cylinder and bearing on this unit work in a different way to amanual installation in that the release bearing is in constant lightcontact with the clutch diaphragm fingers. This is achieved by an internalspring within the thrust bearing. There is no need to be concerned thatthe release bearing is in contact with the diaphragm at all times.
Please note that he slave cylinder must be in a partially compressedform when installed. Fitment of the slave cylinder in the extended statewill result in the bearing being forced off the end of the inner shaftwhen the clutch is depressed. When used in a custom installation pleasecheck the actuation of the slave cylinder over the entire clutch pedalstroke.
Please note: It is necessary to shorten the original gearbox thrustbearing tube and substitute the original bolts for the longer onessupplied.

When using a shallower clutch cover the release bearing may need spacingforward in order to achieve full clutch depression
