Description
Designed as an easily installed premium speakers, the GS62 includes aproprietary injection-molded ABS and fiberglass vented basket. Ease ofinstallation is ensured with a 1” fabric dome neodymium tweeter thatextends a mere 2mm above the surround–sure to fit under factory grilles.
The tweeter faceplate includes a small waveguide designed to boost thetweeter’s low frequencies and ensure a smooth transition to themidrange. That transition is also controlled by a 12dB/octave high passfilter and 6dB/octave low pass filter. The entire crossover network ismounted to a PC board integrated into the basket, which also secures theterminals.
The GS62 woofer includes a 1” copper voice coil wound on a Kapton®former for superior power handling. A multiadapter is included in thekit for easy installation in a variety of factory locations.
